Here, we present all those products that turn around the effects of temperature. The elements
are divided into two categories: those that centre on heat and those that are based on cold.
Heat elements
Finnish sauna
The AstralPool Finnish sauna is constructed from top quality materials and the
equipment incorporated uses the highest cutting-edge technology. This sauna is a solid cabin
created from a wood structure with insulating material inside that is covered with tongued and
grooved boarding. The electronic equipment that generates the heat causes the temperature to
increase inside the sauna.
Prefabricated steam bath rooms
Designed and built according to the most rigorous quality standards as regards the
selection of materials, equipment, steam generation and control units, providing high reliability
and functionality, optimising the therapeutic properties typical of this bath.
This is a closed and watertight room, designed to be occupied by several users that are
sitting or lying down, built with a combination of different materials whose common feature is
resistance to oxidation and temperature.
The principal function of its electric unit is to generate and inject steam into the inside
of the cabin, as well as to control and regulate the quantity of steam and temperature
automatically.
This is the most important factor of the steam booths.
Masonry rooms for steam baths
Masonry rooms allow exclusive and customised designs to be created. For this
reason, our company provides you with the information required to build it correctly and equip it
with the suitable machinery, in each case, according to the size and features of the steam room.
We can also provide acrylic vaulted roofs for your steam bath room.
Generation and control equipment for steam baths
AstralPool has developed equipment for steam production and control that has
excellent levels of performance, durability and reliability. Our equipment incorporates a series of
components that improve and maximise its benefits and add safety and reliability devices for those
commercial or professional installations that require them.
Masonry rooms for Roman baths
The characteristics that differentiate Roman baths from other types of thermal
baths rest in special climatic conditions as regards the temperature and humidity that are produced
and maintained within the bath. Temperatures between 45ºC and 55ºC are maintained and the level of
relative humidity of the air is between 65% - 70% RH.
With this relationship between temperature and humidity, we could define the Roman bath as
being a hot bath somewhere in the middle between a sauna and the steam bath.

Heat loungers
Heat loungers are made up of two basic elements: the surface on which you lie down
and the base to which this surface is affixed. They are manufactured from a rigid foam called
Styrofoam, a material derived from expanded high-density closed-cell polystyrene, which provides
extremely important resistance and hardness, while remaining very lightweight.
The loungers have been designed to be equipped with electric or hydraulic heating systems
(for any type of query or study, please contact an AstralPool provider). In either of the two cases
for heating, the surface of the lounger must be covered in order to obtain heat distribution and a
perfect finish. For this reason, their surfaces come already prepared in order to provide an
optimal adhesion of the covering.
